The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department report from the scene of Carol Nadine Lazar’s death on April 21, 1986 (case 86-55563). Investigators concluded she died of carbon-monoxide asphyxiation and that the death was a suicide.
On 4/21/86, approximately 0735 hrs., BOB LAZAR arrived at his residence after being gone the weekend. Upon entry to the residence, heard a vehicle running in the garage. Went into the garage; found his wife apparently deceased in the garage. He then turned off the vehicle and contacted medical and police personnel who responded.
Upon arrival of F.S.D. officers, Homicide Detail was requested. At 0750 hrs. Detectives K. GOOD and N. ZIOLA received a phone call from Communications in the Detective Bureau requesting their presence at 1933 Ann Greta St. Upon arrival it was observed that 1933 Ann Greta is the second house south of Coran Lane. It's on the east side of the street. In the driveway of the residence is a red Corvette with New Mexico personalized plate: GUMBALL. Parked to the south of the Corvette is a red Trans Am bearing New Mexico plates: GMF-095. There is a small vehicle, appears to be a Honda, underneath a tarpolin on the north side of the driveway. It has no plates on it.
In the garage there is observed a red Honda with no license plates. It is backed into the garage. In the passenger seat lying on a pillow is a white female with brown hair dressed in a pair of Levis with a gray, blue and pink multi-colored blouse. On the hood of the car is a small television set which is on and it has a speaker wire running inside of the vehicle. The rear deck of the vehicle is secured by tape and tinfoil and has metal conduit pipe running inside. There is a Smith & Wesson, Model 469 lying on the driver's seat along with miscellaneous money.
The victim was identified as a CAROL LAZAR by her husband, BOB LAZAR, who furnished a New Mexico drivers license in the name of CAROL LAZAR, DOB: /42, S.S.#:
with a residence address of 941A 18th St., Los Alamos, New Mexico 87544.
As previously described, the victim is lying in the passenger seat of the vehicle. Both hands are upwards to the chin. The head is tilted to the south and it can be observed that there is a cherry red coloring to the fingers and arms. There is a foamy purging coming from the area of the nose.
BOB LAZAR stated that he was out of town pursuing his occupation as a race car driver and when he returned home today he found his wife deceased. A note is found inside of the house and basically it says that she is tired of it; she wanted no big funeral, no flowers; cremation and it said, "I did it by myself" and is signed CAROL LAZAR.

CONTINUATION/FOLLOW-UP REPORT
Upon the arrival of I.D. Specialist RODERICK at 0815 hrs., the scene is photographed in its entirety. The gun lying on the driver's seat is impounded along with the note, by I.D. Specialist RODERICK.
Upon arrival of Deputy Coroner RAY BINDER at 0835 hrs., the victim is pronounced deceased. The victim is removed at 0903 hrs. by Davis Mortuary to the Clark County Medical Examiners Office.
In conclusion, it is, through interview and investigation, concluded that CAROL LAZAR died as the result of possible carbon monoxide asphyxiation. However, this is pending an autopsy. Investigators do believe that the subject died as the result of a suicide.
